Bio:

Dr. Gokce is Director of Echocardiography and Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE) at Boston Medical Center. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology and past recipient of a NIH Research Career Development Award and American Heart Association New England Affiliate Award. He is a current recipient of NIH R01 grants examining mechanisms of vascular endothelial dysfunction associated with metabolic disease and adiposity. His current research interests include echocardiography, vascular biology, adipose biology, and the cardiovascular effects of inflammatory activation associated with adipose remodeling and obesity.
